Grand Pas de Deux by Spuck

I fell over a clip from Christian Spuck’s Grand pas de Deux today, which I felt I wanted to share with you guys! This is ballet the Tights and Tiaras way! Only when you have dancers that good is it ok to mock ballet a little. And only then is it so fun Enjoy

The Dancers are Julia Kramer and Robert Tewsley of the Stuttgart ballet company, taken at the premiere of this very popular pas de deux in 2000.

Oh no! Sadly I can’t watch the video.. Youtube keeps on telling me that “this content is not availiable in your country”. Mean. So, just a quick note: If you have other german readers, they won’t be able to see it, too.

Lucky for me I know the dance, and find it indeed to be very funny. You have to be really good to pull that off, that’s for sure.. and they are good!

Try to search for Spuck Grand Pas on youtube, there should be several video’s of this great performance.
And, to all the sad German readers: Go to Stuttgart! The company there is just amazing!

Hilarious! Nothing like a good belly-laugh over a take-off of all the great pas de deux rolled into one, plus the stunning dancing!
